Unite To Light Nonprofit Launches Glow Tribe NFT Collection

Introducing the Glow Tribe

Unite to Light, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing clean, renewable light and energy to people living without electricity, is partnering with Intuizi and artist Daniel Sulzberg to create a community building initiative around an NFT art collection.

​Intuizi, a location data-based business intelligence company and artist  Daniel Sulzberg, who goes by the artist name Danvillage, have partnered with Unite to Light to launch the Glow Tribe. “The Glow Tribe is a universal community of bright light messengers here to share bright ideas, guide humans out of the darkness and help spread the light” explained Megan Birney Rudert, CEO of Unite to Light, about the idea behind this initiative.

 ​Unite to Light believes that access to clean and affordable light and energy are critical to improving health, education and prosperity. The collection of NFT characters will act as a new donation arm to support Unite to Light’s mission and help send light and power across the globe. Supporters can donate in the month of November and be ‘white listed’ to get one of the limited NFT characters when they are minted, or they can be purchased through OpenSea after the minting. Only 200 characters will be released with this launch.

For those who are curious, and have yet to dive into the world of blockchain, NFT art is a digitized piece of artwork that exists solely in the digital world. Investors and collectors can buy and sell them through the use of blockchain technology. Unite to Light will earn royalties with each NFT drop, as well as each time one of the NFTs is resold on the market, creating a system of funding in perpetuity via a pre-set royalty rate.

​Individuals who purchase Glow Tribe NFTs will receive donor-specific perks, such as Unite to Light swag, access to unique events, and resources from the renewable energy, climate change and sustainable development fields. Top contributors to Unite to Light will also receive Glow Tribe NFTs as part of their membership. The first 50 members will receive a Glow Tribe hat.
