Calling All Artists to Submit Light-Themed Works for Our Second Annual Fundraiser and Exhibition

​We are excited to announce the call for light-themed art. Applications for art to be displayed at our second annual fundraiser + light art exhibition, Unite to Light the Night, are being accepted now! This year's event will take place on October 20 and 21, 2023, and we’ll be returning to the The Community Arts Workshop (CAW). We are thrilled to invite all artists, creatives, and innovators to submit light-themed art for the exhibition, which will be a central part of our fundraising event. 

We welcome works that celebrate and evoke the power of light -  including light installations, projection art, light mapping, sculptures, interactive works, video, augmented reality, and other innovative light-themed works. ​

​Unite to Light the Night will be a two-evening event that merges art, community, and social impact into immersive experiences. The fundraiser supports our mission to bring light and power to the billion people who live without electricity across the globe. We are excited to invite our creative community back for a second year to see all the bright ideas.  

To support our Call for Artists, we will be hosting an Exhibition Activation event on April 18, 2023, starting at 5:30 pm at The CAW. Creatives can learn about submission requirements, tour the venue, and explore ideas for site-specific installations. The Activation event is an opportunity for us to foster a community of creatives who are passionate about creating a unique annual exhibition that showcases the power of light and its ability to bring people together

​To ensure that the exhibition is financially accessible for all artists, we aim to offer grants to selected applicants to help cover material and equipment costs. We can't wait to see all the bright ideas that will be submitted. Join us for the activation event and please be sure to apply before the June 15th deadline!
