In August 2023, the island of Maui was hit by devastating wildfires that destroyed more than 2,200 structures and caused an estimated $5.5 billion in damages. The historic district of Lahaina was the hardest hit, with more than 100 lives lost. In response, we sent solar lights and chargers to support survivors. When you purchase a Luke Light or Chandler Charger through our Buy One, Give One (BOGO) program, you’re helping us bring light and power to people like Sarah during their most critical moments.

At Unite to Light we believe in supporting circular product life cycles, and that means responsible disposal of our products. Email us to receive a prepaid shipping label so we can recycle your Luke Lights or Chandler Chargers that have reached the end of their life.

Originated at the University of California, Santa Barbara our Luke Light has helped children learn to read and study at night, empowered midwives to see in dark huts and deliver care to mothers and babies, and offered comfort and aid in times of disaster.
