Unite to Light Fall Fundraiser

Celebrate Super Heroes With Lights!
October 26, 2017
809 Marina Blvd, San Francisco, CA
7:00PM - 9:00PM
Not your normal fundraiser. Join us for an evening of desserts, drinks and a discussion with true super heroes: people working every day to save the world, one light at a time.
All proceeds will benefit school children in South Africa and Haiti, disaster response in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean and midwives in Bangladesh.

Since 2011, Unite to Light has delivered over 75,000 lights to 65 countries through 150 nonprofit partners. These Lights go to the neediest of the needy: children learning to read, midwives and health clinics, and disaster response.

Yet there are still 1.2 billion people across the globe who live without electricity. This year we aim to deliver 25,000 lights to these populations. That's quadruple what we did last year.

Your participation in this event will help make our goals a reality. You have until October 20, 2017 to buy your tickets ($100) or sponsorship. Purchase tickets online or contact richardl@unite-to-light.org.

If you cannot attend the event, we hope you will consider supporting Unite to Light's programs by making a general donation here

Honored Guest

Mrs. Nomusa Zikhali

Mrs. Zikhali is the Principal at Nokomo Primary School in the community of Mnqobokazi, South Africa. Over the last three years she has helped Unite to Light distribute 4,500 Luke Lights throughout Zululand, helping the students learn to read and study after dark. These lights, along with the work of dedicated teachers and administrators like Mrs. Zikhali, have led to an increase in graduation and pass through rates of 30% or greater.
